What would you say if your best friend asked you this question?
It happened to Samantha Blake, about 7 years ago, while having lunch with the only friend who has known her since childhood.
The question came out of the blue.
Instead of answering yes with a list of reasons why, like she thought she would, she burst into tears.
“I don’t know. I can’t tell anymore. I don’t know what’s bad about my life, but it isn’t how I want to feel. Through my tears, this was about all that I could muster. I didn’t know what needed to change, but right then and there was when I realized my life didn’t feel like mine anymore”.
After that, she started to search for answers to her questions, and look inside.
These are (some of the) questions she asked (herself):
✅ Who or what are the most important things in your life,
and are you prioritizing them?
✅ Are the people around you making you feel better or
✅ What is your definition of success — and are you
striving for that, or an image someone else has put in your mind?
✅ Are you taking care of yourself physically?
✅ What truly brings you joy in your life — and how
often are you doing that?
✅ Is there anything in your life you’d like to say no to?
If so, why can’t you?
